100. Thomas James Middlemore, born at Congress Street, Liverpool, 28 February, 1889, baptized at St. Stephen the Martyr, ancestor of The Middlemores of Los Angeles, California and whom hereafter key Pedigree S.
He attended local schools and was apprenticed to Rolls-Royce where he studied basic building trades and was trained in painting and decorating.
In 1906 he migrated to Canada as part of a working agreement with the Canadian Pacific Railroad that lasted for two years.
Thomas enlisted in the Canadian Expeditionary Force at Montreal on September 24, 1914 and served in France where he was wounded in action in France.
He returned to England following a wound to the left arm on September 19, 1916 and completed his remaining active duty at various locations in England. Clara had gained passage to England from Montreal to be with her husband following his injury.
Thomas was discharged in Montreal Canada on July 19, 1919 with a W.S. Badge Class “A”. He and his wife Clara moved to Windsor with their son Robert William. Clara died in Windsor of Tuberculosis about 1922.
Robert William Middlemore was born at Sussex, England on October 17, 1917. He moved with the family to Windsor Canada and then Los Angeles, California where he attended local public schools until graduation. At the young age of 21 he was injured in a local mountain sledding accident and died from his injuries the following day January 30, 1939.
Unnamed daughter born August 23, 1919 in Windsor and died shortly after birth.
Thomas remarried to Freida Hildner on August 15, 1925 in Riverside California. They honeymooned at the now historic Mission Inn in Riverside. Augusta (Gussie) was born in Peoria, Illinois on October 13, 1891 to Margaret Smith and JJ Hildner. Her mother died when she was quite young and her father then remarried Lillian (last name unknown) and moved to Los Angeles. She attended Los Angeles High School and was trained as a bookkeeper.

Sally Sue Middlemore was born January 31, 1930 in Los Angeles with her fraternal twin brother David. Sally’s birth name was Francis Lillian Middlemore which was legally changed to Sally Sue on March 7, 1930. Sally attended local schools and worked at various oil companies. John Stewart and Sally had a daughter Lynn Middlemore who was 5 when Sally died from lung cancer on November 22, 1969. Lynn was adopted and raised by her uncle David and Winifred. Lynn married John Bonaparte (born July 28, 1962 at Covina, California) on May 12, 1984 and has two children Richard D. Bonaparte born 3/8/1985 and Darren M. Bonaparte born 7/14/1987.
