Robert William Middlemore, born 13 March, baptized at St. Peter's, Liverpool, 22 March, 1857, was a sailor in the merchant service, lost at sea in the ship "Romsdale," Allan Line, 18 October, 1891, aged thirty four; married, 20 February, 1882, at St. Clement's, Liverpool, Theresa, daughter of Thomas Garrett, of Belfast, Ireland, by Theresa Woodward, his wife.
Robert William Middlemore and Theresa Garrett had issue, all now (1900) living at Liverpool. Theresa (Garrett) Middlemore passed away on December 29th 1956 in Orange, California[19].

- Frances Mary, born in Liverpool, 18 December, 1884, and was baptized at St. Luke's. Frances married Jack Wild (born 3/15/1882, died 2/15/1963) in Liverpool on March 15, 1892 and had 5 sons, John, Peter, David, Robert, born in England and Frank who was born in Canada. They also had two daughters, Theresa and Catherine who were born in England. Jack Wild relocated to Canada in 1910 and his wife following in 1913. They settled in Windsor Ontario. Jack and Frances migrated to the US during 1927 and located in Gardena California with Frances’s brother Thomas. Jack subsequently went to work for Pacific Telephone and retired in 1947. They moved from Los Angeles to Orange, Ca. and finally settled in San Bruno Ca.
- Robert William Middlemore, born at Liverpool, 13 June, 1886, and was baptized at St. Philemon's. Robert enlisted at Calgary in the Canadian Expeditionary Force on September 16, 1915 and served until he was killed in action in France on November 19, 1916. He was a cabinet maker at the time of his enlistment and unmarried. His name is recorded on ?? monument in France.
